Making Chirstmas Cookies

We made lots of cookies for Maelyn's class, and for Daddy :) She LOVED rolling out the dough and cut all the cookies by her self! We made a "giant mess" she said...but had tons of floury fun :)

Maelyn's Preschool Christmas Program

We all went to see Maelyn's first program at Lakeland. It was adorable. Her class sang three songs...here are a couple pics and a video of her in action!

New Christmas Tradition

This year we decided to start the tradition of going and picking the family Christmas tree from a farm...Mark even cut it down himself :)

November 2008

Here are a few of our wonderful family pics we had done by my friend with Nikki Nichols Photography. It was a VERY cold morning at the Botanic Gardens in Fort Worth, but we all huddled together and kept warm enough...It was a little hard to keep Maelyn still but I think they turned out great, hope you all enjoy!

Spider-Maelyn

For Halloween this year Maelyn picked a spider... :) We headed out to Aunt Mel, and Uncle Brians house and went around the neighborhood there. Maelyn (and all the kids) wanted to eat each thing after every house, so we only made it around a couple of streets, but they had a great time. They even rode on a hay ride! Here are the pics I got :)

Swimming Lessons and Gymnastics

This fall is going to be SUPER busy :) Maelyn will be doing swimming lessons on Sat. mornings, and Gymnastics on Tues. nights...here are pics of her in her swimsuit, and gymnastics outfit :) I'll post more pics when I get them of her in class

Mae-Mae started preschool!!!

Well Aug. 28th was here first day! She goes to Lakeland Baptist Church on Tues/Thurs from 845 to 1...she pulls in her backpack everyday, and absolutely loves it! Here is a pic from Meet the Teacher, and her first day :)

Maelyn's 2!!!

This year we decided to have her party at her favorite park in Lewisville...we had a great time, and she loved being out there, but we may go with a pool party next year :) Definitely something a little cooler lol. Here are pics from the party, and from her cupcake at home on her actual birthday. I cannot believe she is two already, time flies!
