Bluebonnets

Well, I have the best memories of having my pictures taken in the bluebonnets. It seemed like it was officially spring when they came up! So, I always want to do that with the kids. Last year I was in bed and we missed them, but not this year!! We hit 2 spots...one was on a highway and scary, and the other was a nice quiet park :)

March Madness

{Nothing is as beautiful as Spring}

We had a wonderful March and Spring Break! It was a little wierd to ring in Spring with snow, but hey, it didn't stay too long :) Here are the pics we took on the way...

So, it has officially almost been a YEAR since I posted last. Crazy! But, I promise this weekend I will update everyone on what we have been doing. (which seems like everything)

Maternity Pics!!

After my family ladies shower Saturday, my friend Nikki (with Nikki Nichols Photography) set up her backdrop and we had a little maternity shoot before I had to get back in bed. I haven't seen all the pics yet, but here is was I have so far. I absolutley LOVE them!

I didn't get maternity pics done when I was pregnant with Maelyn, so I really wanted to have them done this time (why anyone wants to document how big they get is still a little beyond me) but I really wanted to have pics of this precious miracle called pregnancy!

Easter

Easter morning we woke up, and of course the Easter Bunny had hidden a basket for Maelyn (In our room so I could watch). She was very excited...though I think her favorite thing in her basket was the grass, well besides the chocolate!

Mark and her then went to the Easter service and then to his parents for luch. I had lunch with our friends from church Wes and Natalie, and then the whole family came by and hung out with me in the bed. All in all it was a great Easter!

Church Shower!

Here are some highlights from my wonderful church ladies shower! Yummy, yummy cupcakes...with little "M's" on them for Myer...Maelyn thought they were for Maelyn so that worked out perfect :)
The BEAUTIFUL cake that my friend Sara made! It matches his bedding PERFECTLY!! I don't know how she did it but it was amazing. Oh, and it tasted just as good!
